The Village of Radium Hot Springs has shifted its water conservation efforts today (August 6) to Stage 2.

With the exception of food plants and gardens, watering of lawns, trees and landscaped areas is restricted to twice a week watering as follows:

Even numbered civic addresses may water on Mondays and Thursdays between the hours of 6 to 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. to Midnight; and

Odd numbered civic addresses may water on Tuesdays and Fridays between the hours of 6 to 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. to Midnight.

Outdoor watering of food plants and gardens by hand-held hose with an automatic shut-off mechanism or hand-held canister is permitted every other day as follows:

Even numbered civic addresses may water on even numbered calendar days between the hours of 6 to 9 a.m. and 7 to 10 p.m.; and

Odd numbered civic addresses may water on odd numbered calendar days between the hours of 6 to 9 a.m. and 7 to 10 p.m.

All other outdoor use of water is prohibited.

Permission to fill a pool or hot tub must be requested from the Village’s Public Works Department.
