Wildfire reported west of Bugaboos
The BC Wildfire Service today reports a wildfire in the Stevens Creek area about 26 km west of Bugaboo Provincial Park.
The lightning-caused fire is estimated at .01 hectare, located on a steep slope northwest of the junction of the Duncan and Westfall rivers.
The fire is considered out-of-control.
No other wildfires are currently burning in the East Kootenay.
