47th annual Dog Show this weekend at Moir Park

It is that time of year again when dogs of all breeds congregate in Moir Park August 23 to 25 to see which has the best attributes or ability to follow its handler through a series of tasks.

The trials start approximately at 9 a.m. and end around 4 p.m. each day. Admission is free!

The Cranbrook and District Kennel Club is a non-profit volunteer society that has been serving Cranbrook and area since 1970. The club holds various events for members and the public throughout the year including seminars and classes in agility, obedience, field trials, tracking, handling health seminars and canine good neighbour tests.

This improves the community by making both dogs and their owner’s better citizens.

The most exciting display of the breadth of dog breeds is our Championship Dog Show and Rally Obedience Trials.

We hope the public will support the effort of the volunteer members and come watch, get in on the raffle and find out more about what the club can offer.

See you at the show!
