Sam Steele Days 2022 saw the return of normalcy to Cranbrook’s longest running and biggest community festival.

Thousands of people mingled in the carnival atmosphere of Balment Park/Western Financial Place area, taking in the food trucks, live entertainment, Strongman Competition, skateboarding demos, Balls of Steele Bocce Tournament and beverage gardens, outdoor market and always hugely popular wiener dog races.

Baseball, disc golf and soccer tourneys were also being staged elsewhere in the city and Kimberley, while a myriad of pancake breakfasts and barbecues sated appetites.
