All OK after small fire at Amy Woodland Elementary School
Cranbrook Fire & Emergency Services responded to a small refrigerator fire at Amy Woodland Elementary School earlier this afternoon (Nov. 18).
As a result, School District No. 5 reported on its website that “students and staff will be outside for the remainder of the afternoon so that the fire department can complete their work.
“We are asking parents/guardians to not come down to the school, students will be dismissed at regular time and busses will be running as usual,” SD5 stated.
There is no damage to the building and everyone is safe.
