The Autonomous Systems Technician program was developed in conjunction with Teck Resources Limited and Canada’s Digital Technology Supercluster to respond to the resource industry’s need for technicians skilled at installing and supporting wireless sensor and controller network systems. The program is also designed such that graduates may find employment in a variety of telecommunication industry settings.
The Digital Technology Supercluster is positioning Canada as a global leader in digital technologies which will solve industry’s and society’s most challenging problems. The Supercluster co-invests with industry in ambitious technology solutions to improve the sustainability and competitiveness of our natural resources, healthcare and industrial sectors while also energizing our economy. By leveraging the strengths and diversity of small and large companies, research organizations and government agencies, our approach delivers impact with the speed and magnitude that no single organization could achieve on its own. The Supercluster manages the investments provided by the Government of Canada’s
Innovation Superclusters Initiative and the public and private organizations which constitute its membership. www.digitalsupercluster.ca .
