Cranbrook Tourism is running its first-ever Industry Familiarization Tour May 28. This free training is intended for frontline hospitality staff who are often the first point of contact when visitors are looking for information and recommendations.

A shuttle bus will be taking a group of 24 to eateries, attractions and tourism suppliers in and around Cranbrook to sample food, experience locations they may not have been before and learn what’s new this season for visitors.

This is a pilot of a project we hope to see grow over successive years. Due to the small number of spots available this year we hope you will consider sending managers or long term staff who will be able to share their experience with your larger team.

We also hope to gather feedback from participants to help expand the tour for next year.
