Dallas Hines dealt for Winnipeg product

The Kootenay ICE has made another trade, announcing today it has acquired 2000-born forward Cyle McNabb from the Vancouver Giants. In return, the Giants receive 1998-born defenceman Dallas Hines.

McNabb, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, has played in 34 games with the Giants this season recording one goal and three points. McNabb has played in 95 career WHL regular season games, scoring two goals and adding nine assists for 11 points.

Hines (pictured left) has 16 points so far this season, including four goals.

In 221 WHL games with the ICE, Hines has registered 16 goals and 52 assists to go along with 115 penalty minutes.

“Dallas has been an important member of our team and leader in the community,” said Matt Cockell, President and General Manager. “We wish him the best of luck in Vancouver.”

McNabb is expected to be in the line-up tonight night when the ICE visit the Medicine Hat Tigers.

The next home game for the ICE is against the Spokane Chiefs on Saturday, January 5.
