Eagles No. 3032 provide $10,000 for MRI

The East Kootenay Foundation for Health’s (EKFH) Starlite Campaign has been an amazing success this year and is thrilled to announce a $10,000 gift from the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3032.

The Eagles are a long-standing community group that has been a tremendous supporter of health care in our region. With previous gifts to support to the ICU Redevelopment and Mammography Campaigns, this generous gift is the latest in their legacy of giving to the East Kootenay Regional Hospital to improve healthcare for all residents of the East Kootenay.

“We are thrilled to receive this generous Starlite gift for the MRI. We could not reach our goal without the support of amazing community minded groups like the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3032. It is always wonderful to see community groups come together to help improve healthcare for everyone is the East Kootenay and this MRI will be a huge step forward for health care,” said Cassandra Schwarz, EKFH Executive Director.

To light a large star is $5,000 and a small star is $2,500. All donations of every size make a huge difference and will accumulate to light a “community star” to help us reach our goal.

To make your holiday starlite gift to the MRI please contact the EKFH office at 1-877-489-6481 or donate online at ekfh.ca.
