Recently, the Kin Club of Cranbrook donated $2,700 to the new Salvation Army Dental Clinic. In the picture showing the cheque presentation is: Nancy Savarie (holding the cheque), Lara Kahl, Dr. Dale Sellers Astarte, Isobel Smiley, Crystal Kenyon, Dawn Burnham and seated, Liz Potashnyk. With the money donated they bought an x-ray developer. The dental clinic, which opened in October 2013, is a free service to those with low incomes, a service sorely needed in our community.
