Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Electoral Area A Director Mike Sosnowski (pictured left) recently presented Conservation Officer (CO) Patricia Burley (pictured right) with a limited-edition print by local artist Sam Millard in recognition of Officer Burley’s extraordinary dedication and service to the RDEK Access Guardian Program.

Officer Burley has been the face of our Access Guardian Program since its inception.

In making the presentation, Director Sosnowski noted that the moose symbolizes strength, solidarity and togetherness – all traits that Officer Burley brings to the program and that have contributed to its success.
