Farm to Fork a festive fundraiser

The Cranbrook Food Action Committee organized and held a Farm to Fork fundraising dinner in Kimberley on Thursday, September 15.

It was a resounding success according to the nearly sold out crowd. The gourmet menu included mostly locally sourced food prepared by The Green Door chefs and served by the local 4-H Club and Green Door helpers. Beverages included local wines, beers, gin, vodka, drinking vinegars, coffee liqueur, locally roasted coffee, locally grown and collected teas, with organic cream from Creston.

Dawson Rutledge performed before dinner, followed by The Oak Republic after dinner.

We are thankful to our very generous sponsors.

The warm fall evening included an appearance by the full harvest moon over the mountains, adding to the ambiance.

A good time was had by all.
