SD5 Board Notes
The following is a summary of School District No. 5 (SD5) board of trustees’ motions carried during the January 15 board meeting held in Jaffray.
Motions Carried
General:
The board read a first time the 2018/19 Amended Annual Budget on January 15, in the amount of $74,856,095.
The board read a second time the 2018/19 Amended Annual Budget January 15 in the amount of $74,856,095.
Please note that there were no committee meetings in December. Also note that the Annual Budget Bylaw requires three readings of the budget prior to final approval.
That the Board writes a letter to support, in principle, the track upgrade at Jaffray Elementary School.
That the Board writes a letter of support, in principle, for the Parent Advisory Council (PAC) to pursue funding for a new playground at Frank J. Mitchell School.
