Winter and Spring in the East Kootenay 2026

Now that we are over half way through 2026 I thought it was time to present my occasional photo feature showcasing a season, or in this case seasons in the East Kootenay.

Having been a little bit distracted the last few months I failed to remember to publish this collection.

So for the two or three readers who appreciate these sometimes random collections of images, here is Winter and Spring in the East Kootenay as I saw it glide by.

A glimpse of six months passing in the region.

The photos in this collection are from the four corners of the region: Elk Valley; Columbia Valley; Cranbrook and Kimberley.
