Acting Chief Morgan said, “I’m excited to be taking on this role. Fernie Fire and Emergency Services has a long history of dedicated work protecting the community, and I’m looking forward to continuing the work to advance the department.”

Deputy Chief Pittman added, “I’m looking forward to working with Acting Chief Morgan and the city to support the priorities of council, our dedicated staff, and to serve Fernie’s citizens and visitors during the transition.”
