City of Fernie Mayor Nic Milligan had the honour of receiving the first poppy from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 36, Fernie, BC to kick-off the annual Poppy Campaign that started Oct. 27.

You can get your poppy by donation from the front desk at City Hall. Money raised from the Poppy Campaign remains in our community and goes toward supporting veterans and their families, bursaries and medical costs as well as many other community causes.
