First responders thank Sparwood residents for generosity
Huge thanks to the community of Sparwood for the generosity to help fill the food bank.
On Sunday evening, the Sparwood Fire Department along with Sparwood Search and Rescue, BC Ambulance Service, Elk Valley RCMP and the 279 Elk Valley Royal Canadian Air Cadets Squadron went door-to-door throughout the district collecting non-perishable food items. Thanks again to all the generous people who donated items and to everyone who donated their time to make sure this annual event was once again a success!
