The Northstar Skaters assisted the RCMP and Mark Creek Lions in putting riders through a number of skill testing stations at the bike rodeo held during Marysville Daze.

Over 35 young cyclists completed the course and received a certificate of completion along with other goodies. Riders also received a 15% discount on a helmet purchase from Kootenay Mountain Works.

With such an active city and a vast network of trails andĀ opportunities for cyclists itĀ great to see the parents and other community organizations promoting bicycle safety.
