Tunes, turns and tans! That’s how Kimberley Alpine Resort (KAR) is describing the last weekend of the ski season.
On Saturday, April 6 the annual Spring Splash Pond Skim begins at 12 p.m. followed by a free outdoor concert on the big stage in the plaza with headliner band Clayton Bellamy and the Congregation.
Clayton Bellamy (pictured) is a JUNO award-winning member of the Platinum selling super group the Road Hammers – the highest selling Canadian country band in history. Bellamy is a five-time Canadian Country Music Award winner and SOCAN songwriter of the year.
Join in again on Sunday, April 7 for the popular Dummy Downhill event at 12 p.m. and watch the crashes!
Immediately following the Dummy Downhill mingle among the goats, get your picture taken with the gorilla, bouncy castle, hula hoop workshops, rock climbing wall and more.
Local favourite Leather Apron Revival will close out the weekend at 4 p.m. on the big stage in the Plaza.
