Kimberley Kritters Pet Boutique opened its doors August 4 and has quickly gotten a reputation for giving back.
A grand opening celebration was held on Saturday, August 26, where they partnered with the BC SPCA East Kootenay Branch to hold an adopt-a-thon and fundraiser.
The event was a huge success, raising over $315 for the BC SPCA and finding homes for two adorable kittens.
Giving back to the community is a huge focus for Erin Thompson and Brian Sondergaard, the owners and operators of this new, local small business.
“We will be choosing a charity to focus on each month, giving proceeds of special sale items to that charity,” Erin stated.
