Reel Rock 11 coming to Kimberley

The Dirtbag Festival is stoked to present this screening of the annual collection of the world’s best climbing and adventure films.

Reel Rock 11 is the annual highlight of the international climbing community and features five epic adventure films from around the globe.

One of this year’s films is ‘Boys in the Bugs’ (pictured above) featuring Matt Segal and Will Stanhope, two world class climbers engaged in a four year epic to conquer one of North America’s hardest alpine climbs right here in our own backyard: the Tome Egan Wall on Snowpatch Spire in the Bugaboos, located west of Brisco.

The screening will be held at 7 p.m.on Saturday, November 19, at the Kimberley Conference Centre. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are available online for $12 through www.dirtbagfestival.com or eventbrite.ca. They can also be purchased at the door for $15 (if there are any left).

Dirtbag Festival is super excited to have the opportunity to bring in an event like this to our region. For more information, visit www.dirtbagfestival.com or follow us on fFacebook.
