Tour the new Rocky Mountain Childcare Centre and enjoy family-friendly festivities

Summit Community Services Society invites community members to the Summit Spring Fling Open House on Saturday, May 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The open house will be held at the new Rocky Mountain Childcare at Marysville Elementary School (546 309 Ave, Kimberley.).

We invite community members and Summit service users to join this fun filled, family friendly event and celebrate all we have accomplished so far and learn about our current work.

Guests can enjoy a BBQ, live music, face painting, crafts, and more. Children can explore a firetruck and ambulance, take a ride on a Trishaw bicycle, and participate in other hands-on activities. There will also be a 50/50 draw and an exciting E-bike raffle.

The spring fling celebrates more than five decades of service from Summit Community Services Society. Established 52 years ago, the society is a local non-profit that supports community well-being through a wide range of programs in Kimberley and Cranbrook. Services include counselling, early childhood education, and programs for seniors.

The open house will also showcase Rocky Mountain Childcare in Marysville, the latest Summit initiative, which is creating 148 new childcare spaces for local families.
