The Village of Radium Hot Springs is going to be the epi-center of classic rolling beauty Sept. 20 and 21.

The annual Columbia Valley Classics Autumn Show and Shine begins with registration on Friday night (Sept. 20) and goes all day Saturday, Sept. 21.

Things get rolling at 7 a.m. with a pancake breakfast at the Radium Seniors’ Hall, which goes to 10 a.m., when the Show and Shine portion of the day begins at the Springs Golf Course driving range.

Things get interrupted for a bit at 4 p.m. when hundreds of participants wheel their vintage and classic vehicles to Invermere and back. The event is not sanctioned by the car club and RCMP are stating again that there will be zero tolerance for unsafe and reckless driving.

The annual dance begins at 8 p.m. at the Invermere Curling Club with music from Metro Beat.

Running in concert with the car show is the Radium Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce / Tourism Radium’s Rockin’ on Main.

Starting at 4 p.m. on Friday in front of the VIC, Rockin’ on Main will feature the music of 60 Hertz. The evening runs until 8 p.m.

Rockin’ on Main goes from noon to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, with Marty and Eli (Beingessner) taking to the stage at 2:30 p.m. and L8 starts performing at 5:30 p.m.
