Kimberley selected for One Horse Town event
Kimberley has been chosen as the B.C. region representative in the Molson Coors One Horse Town event.
There are six regions in Canada with a small town representing each one.
While full details will not be divulged until June 6, City of Kimberley Mayor Don McCormick announced on Facebook yesterday the city could be hosting CMT and some country music talent in the near future.
A winning town chosen from a public vote will be the host of a big concert. Dean Brody, Chad Brownlee and The River Town Saints are the line up for the concert that will happen in September.
This event was launched last year with the winner being Lacombe, Alberta. Check this out.
“CMT will be in Kimberley today to do a couple of interviews. Complete details of the campaign will be out this week,” McCormick said.
