Road Closure Notice for July 13
Beginning Monday, July 13, Pine Avenue, between Ridgemont Drive and the first driveway access to the Aquatic Centre, will be closed to vehicle, cyclist, and pedestrian traffic while contractors complete underground utility connections for the Pine Ave Child Care Centre.
A signed detour will be in place through Silveridge, St. Margaret’s Road and Coal Creek Road.
Stage 1: Full road closure from July 13 to July 15. Detour signage will be in place for vehicle traffic. Pedestrians and cyclists will want to use the trail past the volleyball courts and the Coal Creek Heritage Trail to Ridgemont Drive.
Stage 2: Single-lane alternating traffic from July 16 to July 17 with flaggers. Expect traffic delays.
Stage 3: Two-way traffic with delineated construction zones. Minimal traffic impact.
Information from the contractor is being circulated to local residents.
