Heads up if you’re heading downtown tomorrow!

The speed limit for the downtown Fernie area is being reduced from 40 km/h to 30 km/h.

New speed limit signs are being installed and will be in effect immediately.

The new downtown speed zone will cover a three block by six block section of town encompassing 4th Street through 9th Street, from 3rd Avenue to the railway tracks.
