Station Square enhancement feedback sought
The City of Fernie is looking for feedback on proposed enhancements to Station Square, one of the most important downtown event spaces.
Three concept options have been developed, each taking a different approach to public gathering space, seasonal use, parking, and traffic flow along a section of 6th Street.
We’re also pursuing grant funding to support additional enhancements such as landscaping, shade trees, seating, bike parking, and other amenities.
The project team is holding an Open House on September 15.
Drop by The Arts Station from 4:30-6:30 p.m. to chat about the project, ask questions, and provide your feedback.

Your input will be used to identify community priorities and help guide refinement of a preferred concept.
