Richard Wayne Lobban

1963 – 2020

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Richard Lobban announces his passing after a brief battle with cancer, on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the age of 57 years.

Richard was an amazing charismatic, funny, charming man.  He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humour, witty comments and accepting easy going nature. His favourite thing was to make people laugh. We never knew what he would say next.

Richard will be remembered by his best friend and loving wife of 38 years Edina, his four boys, Wayne (Katy), Blair (Robynne), Randell (Andrea), and Nicholas, and the pride and joy of his life, his six grandchildren Camryn, Kalle, Ronan, Sophia, Samuel, and Ava.

Richard will also be remembered by many family members, extended family members, and friends.

He was predeceased by his mother (Avril), his father (Dick) and brother Rodger.

The family would like to thank Justin, the palliative care team and Dr. Dawson for their exceptional care of Richard during his illness.

A Celebration of Richard’s life his “fun”-ereal as he called it will take place at a later date.
