Hockey Hall of Fame inductee and Cranbrook son Scott Niedermayer will be in Cranbrook’s Western Financial Place on Friday, December 27, as the City of Cranbrook honours the NHL great with the unveiling of a bronze plaque commemorating his illustrious hockey career.

ScottNiedermayerThe plaque will be unveiled at ice level ahead of the Kootenay ICE home game against the visiting Spokane Chiefs starting at 7 p.m. Scott Niedermayer is expected to participate in a ceremonial puck drop at centre ice.
