Candidates declared for Invermere by-election
District of Invermere voters will have five choices in the March 4 council by-election.
The nomination period closed at 4 p.m. today (Jan. 27).
District Chief Election Officer Kindry Luyendyk today declared Grey Bradatsch, David Goldsmith, Grant Kelly, Stephanie Stevens and Juaniti Violini as candidates in the by-election.
The five district residents are running for the council seat vacated by newly elected Coun. Mark Topliff, who resigned prior to his first council meeting Nov. 8.
