Mount Baker Secondary School (MBSS) Volleyball got off to a great start last weekend when the two senior teams travelled to Lethbridge, Alta. The girls came in second and the boys came in first.

Dawson Atwood was named tournament MVP. The semis and finals for the boys were nail biters: Fernie Academy – MBSS won both sets 25-20 and 25-5 and; Senator Gershaw (Bow Island)- MBSS lost the first set 25-23 and won the next two sets 25-20 & 15-8.

In the Finals versus Catholic Central (Lethbridge), MBSS lost the first set 25-17 and won the next two sets 25-23 and 16-14.

The boys are off next weekend, and the girls travel to the University of Calgary Dino’s tournament on Friday.
