Cranbrook residents making active statements
Cranbrook has just moved into first place in the ParticipACTION Community Challenge!
The challenge involves people registering their activities for the month of June and the community with the most active residents – named Canada’s Most Active Community – will win $100,000 to go toward recreation/sport infrastructure.
Leading the charge is Active Cranbrook and organizer Deb Mandryk reminds the community, “we can’t relax as there’s still two weeks to go in June!
“The top communities must do a presentation, with photos, and answer several questions that are judged by an independent panel before a final decision is made. However, today we are smiling!”
Active Cranbrook thanks all the organizations, businesses, clubs, families, schools and individuals who are supporting this great community project … and keep entering those numbers!
