Wild basketball teams ready for New Year

The Mount Baker Secondary School Junior Girls’ Basketball team completed its third consecutive week of travel to Calgary to attend the Bishop Grandin Junior Girls’ Invitational where they placed second overall. The team went in injured and bench depth became a factor in their success. The girls played hard, however, and Player of the Game awards went to Asia Mullin and Talia Stepan. Summer Blackmore was named All-Star.

The girls will travel to Okotoks after the break for a tournament at Foothills Composite High School on January 12/13.
