The City of Fernie’s tennis courts in James White Park are getting a facelift, and are closed from Friday, August 26 until Sunday, August 28 while the repair work is completed.

The City of Fernie owns and operates three macadam tennis courts in James White Park. Weather permitting, the courts are open daily from May 1 to September 30. The courts operate on a first-come-first serve basis unless they are booked out for programming.

The city is investing $10,000 from the 2022 Capital Budget in the improvements that include resurfacing and crack repairs.
